What Is Cupping
The MYO Collective

Release tight muscles, improve circulation and relieve stubborn tension

Cupping is a highly effective technique used to reduce muscle tightness, improve blood flow and promote deep relaxation. At The Myo Collective in Bentleigh East, our therapists use a combination of static, gliding and functional release cupping to release tension, increase range of motion and support recovery.

Cupping can be used on its own or combined with myotherapy, remedial massage or dry needling for even better results.

Cupping uses gentle suction to lift the skin and muscle tissue, increasing circulation and stimulating the body’s natural healing process.
By drawing tight tissues upward instead of compressing them, cupping can relieve tension that traditional massage may not reach.

Some temporary marks may appear after treatment — these are painless, normal, and a sign of increased blood flow.
